Passover Seder Meal

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, March 21 at 6:00 PM to participate in a Passover Seder Meal. We will share traditional foods that would be eaten during Passover. We are asking people to bring a food of their choice to share. (Grapes, bread, unleavened bread, fruit, olives, chicken, beets, Matzo soup, Hummus, pita bread) Pastor Haara will share with us the symbolism of some of the ceremonial foods that were eaten and the tie into our Christian faith.  


Passover commemorates God’s deliverance of the Hebrews from slavery to Egypt and his creation of the Israelite people. As Christians, we reflect upon Jesus sharing the Passover meal with his disciples; The Last Supper, where the unleavened bread is used to represent Jesus’ body, and wine represents his blood of the New Covenant (Luke 22:19-20).
