Pastor's Blog 3/19

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.” March 19, 2020 People are afraid. Yesterday I went to Publix to buy a few things and the one thing I could not get was bread. I figured that there was a rush on that in the mornings so I went this morning at 8am, when the store opened, and there were four squad cars watching the crowd waiting for the store to open. In fact when the store did open, there was police control in one aisle inside – the paper goods aisle and in particular - toilet paper. I did find bread and it was limited to two loaves. I am not sure when the spread of this germ will end, but God does not want to you be filled with worry and fear about this pandemic. We find perfect love whenever we look to Jesus. The love and power of Jesus goes beyond a season of sickness. The one thing I highly recommend for those who are worried and anxious is to pray. Give it all to Jesus. When you do that, His peace, a peace that passes all human understanding fills your heart and mind. Please call if you need help with anything. We have several members who have extra time on their hands this week and for the next few who would be happy to help in any way needed. We have one service this weekend, Sunday March 22nd at 10:00 AM that will be streamed and on the website. We will follow the rule to limit the attendance at this service to 10 people. Call or text me with any prayer requests and if you would like to attend. (813) 892-3003. In Christ’s Service Pastor Dave
